Pre-Roll Video

Resolution: 720p (1280x720)
File Size: less than 30 MB
File Types: .mp4 or .mov
Length: 15 seconds (preferred) 30 seconds (max)
Note: All pre-roll videos longer than 15 seconds will be skippable after 5 seconds

In-Banner Video

In-Banner video can be host-or-user initiated up to :30 seconds and must have standard controls (i.e. play/pause, audio/mute, and stop). Audio must be user-initiated, except for In-banner Video ads in Expandable banners when expansion is on click. If expansion is on rollover/mouse over, audio must be user-initiated on click.

Maximum initial file size: 50k
File size: 300x250, 300x600 or 728x90

Submission Guidelines
All advertiser submitted In-Banner video ads must be submitted to the ad ops team 2 business days prior to campaign launch meeting the above specs or select a new start date. Creative changes need 24 hour (1 business day) notice.

Choose the In Banner Video and you can reach your audience in two key ways. One, a 30-second spot within the active browser page that engages the user in an interactive commercial. Two, the ad remains on the page after the streaming is finished, offering the user the chance to watch it again or just absorb the message. Either way, you’ve just garnered a user impression above and beyond the normal 30-second video spot.

Specifications
Video: 30 seconds max for Auto-Initiated Video. Extended-Play Video (longer than 30 seconds) is allowed if user actively clicks-to-play video or after User-Initiated expansion of a panel.
Audio: User Initiated on click only. Audio must end before or simultaneously with the ad.
Animation/Looping: Permitted. Unlimited looping within 15 seconds for Flash Animation.
